This project was the last assignment before thesis for the MFA of Themed Entertainment Design. It is inverted powered coaster with hand gesture recognition designed for the IP of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each vehicle is designed to have one bender of each element to help the Avatar Aang defeat the fire nation. Guests have to make the taught hand gesture of their element to help Aang through the different lands. First the Water Tribe with just a ship, then the Earth Kingdom who has more signs of being attacked, next the Air Nomads with mid-air battle and lastly the Fire Nation with a big battle in the volcano area. They do this while riding in everyone’s favorite bison: Appa.
